so turnbull must be a fan of the marquee player idea? if thats the case, maybe CCM will look into one next season in place of vidmar Exactly what was suggested in an SBS feature on the Mariners yesterday; that plus the possibility of a guest appearance later this season.

what of singo? forgive my cynicism, but his involvement was always more about the stadium than the mariners. that's why he's been at the forefront of pushes for CC-based NRL clubs and the central coast rays ARC entry. this isn't to suggest that singo has been anything but terrific for our club, but will turnbull stepping in and taking a more prime role signal a slight retreat from singo? will the club's and singo's interests diverge at all insofar as what they want with fixturing, ground operations and facilities? ideally, it will give singo a freer hand to invest in the ground in such a way as to boost attendances and gameday revenue - more cover (even a half roof over the northern end would do wonders for comfort and acoustics), better facilities (i'm thinking mobile bars on the northern concourse ;D ) and better homes for merchandise sales etc. was thinking the exact same thing dybes. is it true he is no longer a board member or involved with the FFA? i think with Turnbull involved, Singo will be spending a bit more of his interest in the new Rugby Union club, Central Coast Rays. but we still do have Singo involved yes?

I think Singo did move off the FFA board When they made a couple of changes earlier this year.
