Obviously i'd like to see him not suspended. Although it was a solid hit, neither player was running at the ball, and heff was probably there first before spike tried to move through that "gap" (from what I saw from the opposite end!), so to give the attacker benefit of doubt that results in a red and a penalty is a little biased.
However... That would all be fine, except that there was obvious intent in the way heff charged into him with a raised elbow.
I think we would be better off copping a short suspension because the "precedent" set will be more of a benefit for the rest of the season. Plus we seem to have the depth to deal with it.

screens are compulsory for all teams during the a-league. Um... No are you sure Jaza? I know how much it costs for us to have every game and I'm sure if the club could opt not to have it they probably would, it's not cheap! I'm under the impression that we have to have it for HAL and final games. |

Heff getting suspended this way is stupid. Why not watch a jest game and give some suspensions for diving?
Or any of the other bad fouls of the weekend, eg anything muscat, tiatto, moore, milligan, anything qld...

It's only ever been Spenny or Wilko unless there is some token trial game I'm missing or forgetting something? Viddie if he comes in or Gumps would be obvious choices or maybe Lawrie will shock us with Browny or Hutch or someone like that? |

I think browny would do a good job with the armband or gumps for sure. I'm expecting a high scoring close thriller mariners win just not real sure of the score (maybe 3-2 4-2) but i do predict we will win a penalty shot @ some point and was wondering if kwaz will still be taking responsibility or if someone else will have a go who do you think should take em if kwaz is not on the park?  I'm so FARKIN FIRED THE FARK UP already its insane.I just cant even wait for my first pre game session @ the kendall bar. I think the crowd will be pleasing as-well possibly 16/17000ish depends if the part time band wagons coming or not. |
