Thanks EGGBA for bringing the thread back to normality. Geez....I can't stand it when we get this "You're worse than us/No YOU'RE worse" crap.....save it for the school playground.
Anyway, as regards Nik, I would say McKinna would have some kind of deadline in mind for him to prove himself and his fitness - maybe end of this season. It's frustrating, really, because he got a couple of games behind him and was starting to look the business, but things can't go on the way they are indefinitely. I thought Mori did quite well against Adelaide, made some good runs etc....but he's not a long term replacement. Matt Simon might be, but not just yet.

Nik injured...............wow, I am shocked. As for the upper tier at EAS, this season I plan to video the tools who throw the cans/spit etc and then contact the companies who hired the corporate boxes to let them know how their employees behave in their name. Be interesting conversation with their bosses on the Monday methinks :-) The upper tiers boxes are at the back so i dont think that would work. However video evidence of someone throwing stuff should be given to authorities, possibly ban them from games? Try anything to stop the rot I agree

Well, his contract is up come seasons end. So i would think he will need game time to stay around. Though he may call it quits if this is a bad injury. Which would suck.

Thank God (Lawrie) we signed Sasho.
Come on Nik...how long do you have to keep us waiting! We've never lost a game when he's played, and it only took a handful of games to crack the Socceroos squad, which is why it is so frustrating and so perplexing as to how long we can keep the faith.
For now, I think Kwassie has the confidence and form to be a good second striker. He shouldn't lead the line as he was asked to last year, but a combo such as him and Sasho would be a good front two in my opinion. With the midfielders we have sitting on the bench, that is possibly a good solution for the short-to-medium term?

I hope this doesn't start the f*#k off mrdja cause he cant get fit band wagon but its just so annoying dealing with the he's only out for a week oh know make it two Na make it season. He's just so damn good at getting results ah well get well soon mrdj! Completely forgot to consider that option Brett i just assumed kwaz was mid only how bout: ----------Danny--------- Browny--boogs---clark---heff --------------jedi--------- gumps----hutch--------kwaz --------mori------sasho---- Bench tommy owens simons/porter trott Depending on how the games going if we are struggling when mori starts to tire bring kwaz up front tommy to mids but try and make the call earlyish like around 65min mark. Or you could do it in reverse with mori starting on bench.

Im confused... I thought he was close to coming back (again) and they were just resting his knee so it doesnt get overworked. Please explain... Has he come up sore at training or something? Nik is the man, but we should really be giving the boy (Simon) a go, he moves well, has no real fear as far as I have seen, and would love to ut it on at home V the jets...

Ossie's in the squad...great! Or is it just a smoke screen?
If he's right to start it gives us a much better balance and we actually look quite strong.

Osman is a very important member of our backline, im actually very surprised no one made a bigger deal about him missing the Adelaide game... If we have him back this weekend, ill be feeling much more confident with him there
