Im not trying to defend the whole violence thing andy.
Yes Loudy can be a tool. Hell i can be a tool sometimes. I dare say people on here could be tools. So there is no real difference there.
As for your quotes. The one bagging out one of your chants 'yellow army', well some of your forum member bag ours out.Do i think they are tools, no.
As for the station quote. A couple of the boys were threatend at the station 2 season ago. So that is a fair statement he made.
please remember im not conding violence just showing were not the devil and you guys aint angels

comparing both grounds, Newcastle Away supporters have it easy in terms of getting shit thrown at them and bogans trying to fight them.

Dont justify your remarks with "yeah but your worse" crap. Any violence or threats from either side of the fence is not acceptable. Simple as that I have said this before on this forum. I have been threatened by a man holding his sons hand, cmon how can that be good for the boys development.

This is a load of crap, we are both as poor as each other.... Yeah, unfortunately we get dickheads here as well as at Newcastle. I blame it on the thuggery league "supporters" who can't tell the difference between a bit of banter and just yelling abuse at people (including kids) and throwing shit at them. These people just rock up for a game here and there and I imagine they will be out again this weekend.

At your place we get dozens of heroes hanging over the rails of the tier above us (like monkeys?) throwing cans of beer and spitting. The security/police presence look up with a sort of glazed look that says "wow, this place has a second level?" I've heard that in the security reports its us who then get a bad rap for starting shit...

Yes, I noticed the flags are back up to which is great. The local media coverage is a disgrace. I'm sure Ben and co are working hard with the local papers but really the coverage locally is pathetic and pitiful. It is nothing more than a token gesture to run the stories they do. The radio stations aren't any better either. To think we have the only local team playing in a fully professional national competition shown live on national pay tv and the dickhead editors who run these media outlets continue to either ignore it or give it minimum attention pisses me off. We should really consider a co-ordinated campaign (phone calls, letters to the editor etc)to give the club and this great game the respect and coverage it deserves. It's insulting and wrong and part of a broader plot to keep the game from getting the media space it deserves. I long for the day these Rugby League loving (News Ltd) editors who control column inches are gone and we once and for all rid ourselves of this blatant discrimination. I agree totally and feel we should fight back with a well directed and planned email campaign. Maybe a thread is needed to come up with ideas and set up some type of media action group.

As bad as his 'written communication' is, the funniest time was actually speaking to him. He had an Aussie accent except when he said something well 'ard: then it turned into a northern pommy accent. Ha!

I have said this before on this forum. I have been threatened by a man holding his sons hand, cmon how can that be good for the boys development. About as good as the parents egging their kids on to throw stuff at away supporters at your stadium. Idiots at both places and neither coming from the supporter groups. (mainly)

Equally i have been pushed and prodded going down your stairs heading towards the league club. Saying that, it lasts 5mins. Where as ours could go the whole game. As for the security thing. It is always away fans causing the trouble. ALWAYS *sarcastic smile*

Mrdja injury rocks Mariners October 04, 2007
CENTRAL Coast has been rocked in the lead-up to Sunday's derby against Newcastle with injury-prone striker Nik Mrdja aggravating a knee problem.
Mrdja was due to return for Sunday's blockbuster and coach Lawrie McKinna was hoping to unleash the talented 28 year old late in the game.
He will miss a minimum two games, but the Mariners are hopeful the diagnosis after tomorrow's visit to the specialist is not worse.
"Nik went for a run earlier this week and he felt it again," McKinna, who will again rely on veteran Damian Mori, said.
"In the games he played there is no way we saw the best of him. It's a shame for him because he's been out for so long, but hopefully he'll get the best possible news now.
"We can't afford to rush him back. Because he's been out for so long, physically and mentally he needs to be right within himself.
"All of a sudden we go from having a lot of depth up front to being skinny."
Mrdja's last game was in the round two win over Queensland and the injury flared up when he joined the Socceroos camp against Argentina, where he made his debut.
But the league leaders remain confident of toppling the Jets, with a 12,000-plus crowd expected at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday.
"We haven't really focused on the injury - we have not had Nik for the last three games and we're still clear at the top," he said.
Matthew Osman is rated a 60/40 chance of playing - he must get through Friday and Saturday's sessions.
McKinna has been impressed by Newcastle's fighting qualities this season, particularly those of winger Joel Griffiths.
He said Ante Covic, Mark Bridge and Matthew Thompson have also played crucial roles.

Nik injured...............wow, I am shocked.
As for the upper tier at EAS, this season I plan to video the tools who throw the cans/spit etc and then contact the companies who hired the corporate boxes to let them know how their employees behave in their name.
Be interesting conversation with their bosses on the Monday methinks :-)

Be interesting conversation with their bosses on the Monday methinks :-) The upper tiers boxes are at the back so i dont think that would work. However video evidence of someone throwing stuff should be given to authorities, possibly ban them from games? Try anything to stop the rot
