I'm tipping a 1-0 win to us to help extend our lead at the top of the table and confirm our superiority over our northern neighbors.
If we win today IMO, we will be part of the Major semi-final. I know it is only early days, but it will be a massive gap between us and 3rd/4th. My tips:
CCM 1-0 NEW John Aloisi 83rd minute Crow: 16497

Shield is a f*****g muppet.
If he bothered to pick up the foul on Hutcho first - and I think he got hacked about 4 times - he wouldn't have retaliated.
Nice of him, the 4th official and the AR to all miss Lardel's eye gouge on Hutcho while he was on the ground too. F*****g atrocious, I'm sick of it.
Not really much to comment on the match. We're not making the best use of Aloisi and Petrovski - nobody plays as well with them as Tommy P. Once he's off the field, those two become next to useless. They just don't seem to fit in anywhere.
We still suffer from the same defensive lapses that have always plagued us - too many inexcusably free players in the box, and we're still too susceptible to a ball going across the face of the goal.
Too bad we didn't get that penalty when Covic punched on of our guys in the back of the head while completely missing the ball in the first half.
Kwassie has lost his early-season form, I fear.
I really think the 4-4-2 formation is old and tired. It's time for something new.
We didn't miss Jedi as much as I thought we would. I mean, we still missed him, but there weren't really any glaring holes on the field.
Jets should've won - they had some great chances which they completely obliterated.
Gotta love the commentator (forget which one it was) after Denni headed the ball over a completely open goal:
"Take it from me - Denni will never score. If he didn't score then, he's never going to score". Gold.
Oh, and did I mention just how much I hate Joel Griffiths? Bloody surly whinging absolute shite hack of a so-called player.

Just got back from the game on the train. To the wankers who are trying to start an new supportors called "the dock" please does us a favour and shut the f*** up. We should all be supporting the Mariners as one, not as different groups.

Very trying conditions for the players. I thought we did ok in patches and agree we need to play to Aloisis strengths a bit more but hes still very new to our systems. I think there was just a little spark in the middle missing which a fit Tommy might have provided? We got caught a few times on the break but we scrambled well.
Seriously ,Jardel must not play again he is disgraceful some of his touches were dreadful and its more than embarrassing now

Not the worst performance we've put in this year (last week was worse, ironically), but probably not enough to merit a win either.
Looked solid enough, created a few chances, but the main things was we didn't lose (and we didn't lose any ground to Qld).
As for Hutch's booking, really silly challenge.....but how the hell did the other Jets player (Thomson, I think) get away with putting his hands in Hutcho's face??!!!
BRING ON THE BLING!!!

We should all be supporting the Mariners as one, not as different groups. That's constructive! Did you hear WHY they want to start a new supporter group? Maybe listening to what's bothering them might be more helpful than telling them to shut up.

Would this have something to do with the expansion away from bay 16?
