On the CCF website it says that the results are only provisional until confirmed by club officials. If there is an error, report it to your Club Fixture Officer.

Gos Div 1 Mens have launched their attack on the top 2 places with a 1-0 win over Wyong... who will now have to struggle to make the top 4.

Kariong WAA4's lost to Umina 3-0. Not bad considering it was top of the table vs bottom of the table.

and the ball wholly over the line leads to controversy in our match. Can I help it if in the absence of an assitant, the ref decides to take notice of my appeal? He didn't earlier on. Been called loads of things over the years but don't know if I've ever been called a cheat - well not that many times within a minute! First time I've been sledged on age too. Is it really showing that much Fish/Mick/Sacko? ... never mind! Better get the dye in this week before the Southern match to hide those half dozen grey ones. Still got the last laugh when the Woy Woy guy couldn't resist taking the argy bargy at a corner too far and saw a second yellow. Good ref that young bloke too! How crucial are the remaing three rounds and catch up games going to be in the AA5s? you are old tony but do not look it not bad for a forty plus year old to be the best player on the park sunday that woy woy striker was a tool - fancy trying to sledge our team when you have a stutter and it takes ten minutes for the sledge to come out! of course you will get constantly teased after this and you only have yourself to blame if you retaliate he should have got cards in the first half for deliberately kicking the ball away twice after the ref blew for fouls

Yep Andy (and my team mates and other interested readers), have checked with our fixture officer who assures me the CCF now have the correct result and the table is in error. The 2-1 result to the bad guys was an error on her part. BTW what kick off time have you guys been given for sunday? 9am? On the CCF website it says that the results are only provisional until confirmed by club officials. If there is an error, report it to your Club Fixture Officer.

Thanks for the wrap Mick - I polled OK but it was actually Goldy who topped it this week. Might say something about the game that 3 of the best 4 points were defensive players! BTW did I hear a sledge directed at you to do with the radio? Jacko should be available, Brendan and Joel are both talking come backs this weekend and if Ads is OK to play, look out Southern! you are old tony but do not look it not bad for a forty plus year old to be the best player on the park sunday that woy woy striker was a tool - fancy trying to sledge our team when you have a stutter and it takes ten minutes for the sledge to come out! of course you will get constantly teased after this and you only have yourself to blame if you retaliate he should have got cards in the first half for deliberately kicking the ball away twice after the ref blew for fouls Todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy junnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiooooooorrrr ;D

The Express Advocate also had it down as a 2-1 win to Woy Woy.

There's no Round 17 thread, so i'll put it in here. This is the latest table after the today's game. This was created manually by me by using the results just posted up and last weeks table, so the Ourimbah-Woy Woy "error" is still in there.

Still very tight then - our last minute equaliser was very much needed this morning.

agreed.... excellent game...again
second time Ourimbah has scored in the closing minutes against us.
although two points dropped by us, would of helped us kick somewhat clear of the traffic jam, makes this next round very important.

agreed.... excellent game...again second time Ourimbah has scored in the closing minutes against us. although two points dropped by us, would of helped us kick somewhat clear of the traffic jam, makes this next round very important. damn those angled goal posts at SEU! with round posts that shot of #5 (?) would have rebounded more favourably for us. Taking nothing away from him though, it was a nice shot hit with the outside of his right boot - I know because it dipped over my head (and I'm 6' 2" !) - then kept swerving away from MM outstretched gloves only to hit the post before going in. The result of that game had far more hinging on it for us than you guys as far as making the final 4 and a win would have been the preferred result but the draw still leaves us very much alive. However, this sunday's game against Toukley really is our cup final being a 6 pointer match. Not sure what to make of Toukley's result against Gosford only winning by the odd goal. As we're probably the only team not to have played Gosford yet, we have no idea of their strengths and weaknesses; only their stats on the table to go by. To only go down to Toukley 0-1 suggests they are very competitive (provided Toukley were at full strength) as we found Toukley a pretty good side in our 0-0 draw away to them. So if the gods smile on us this sunday and we can get the 3pts over Toukley, we'll still have to work very hard to get points off Gosford. Regarding the teams near the foot of the table, I've gotta hand it to Kanwal this year. I notice they only went down 0-2 to Woy Woy yesterday. Woy Woy may have been missing 'big mouth' via suspension but I don't know how much of effect that might have had. Regardless, I would rate Kanwal as probably the best last placed team I've ever played against (relative to the comp standard that is). Can't work out why they haven't picked up a few more points here and there. Despite us having 5-0 and 3-0 wins against them, they never looked like throwing the towel in.

Gos WAA3s went down to Kariong 2-0, playing on the small field at Wyoming. And I collected another keeper..... accidentally. That now brings my total to 4.

That table was looking much better for us 1 minute before the end of the game... but a lack of concentration and a quality header and finish cost us 2 points it was a good game- played in a good spirit by two fairly even teams when we play you guys next year we will have 10 defenders in the last 2 minutes because the two goals you have scored against us have both been in the last bloody minute!!!
