Yes, he has blinding acceleration and the stamina to hold up over 100m. He could do sub 11 in spikes.

Well he said the thing about the 11 seconds in front of journalists and they all printed it. Maybe he has no experience with german journalists yet Now everyone will take that for granted 11 seconds is awesome for a footballer in general, but I would call it sensational due to his height and weight. There is a german international called Odonkor who was surprisingly nominated for the world cup. He runs the 100 in 10,7 seconds. He's a striker and Dean would be playing directly against him. Everyone's now looking forward to that

i_ratecoondogs_43: Great translation! Only two small additions: He wants to convince his new coach to be part of the team when it tries to repeat the second half of the last season. Apparently he wants to go to Norway for vacation together with his manager. I doubt that he can go surfing there But it's a very nice country with a lot of lakes and mountains There were one article in each of the two big serious newspapers in Nuremberg today. They mainly pick up the information from the interview. They all see him as the typical casual Australian which is very positive. They call him an open guy too. New to me was the information that Andre Gumprecht gave a hint about the two to our team manager Meyer. Both Meyer and Gumprecht come from the same home town which is in Eastern Germany called Jena.

We had a player from Senegal in the 90ies. He was always faster than the ball and couldn't handle the ball when running so fast. But everyone loved him for running so fast. Dean seems to be able to handle the ball Here's a picture of him Dean in a german newspaper (yellow press) from the match on Tuesday: www.sc-n.de/news/index.php?action=bericht&nummer=6218That's the new away shirt he's wearing. The headline means "Where's the beach?". As you might know there's none. The closest is about 700 miles away. But snowboarding is an option. At least in winter. He will find great mountains just two hours away from Nuremberg. But many football players are not allowed to go skiing or snowboarding because the danger of injuring is very high. I hope he is allowed to go to the mountains

No one could believe it, but it's true Galasek signs for Nurnberg Czech Republic international Tomas Galasek has signed a two-year deal to join Bundesliga side Nurnberg. The 33-year-old midfield engine has moved to Germany, after rejecting a contract extension at Ajax earlier in the season. He had been linked with a move to several English clubs, including Aston Villa, but only received concrete offers from German clubs. He wanted be certain of his future before heading to the World Cup with the national side, and so opted to move to the Franken Stadion on a Bosman free transfer. After six years at the Amsterdam ArenA, Galasek left the club in a disappointing fourth place in the Dutch Eredivisie this season, 24 points behind champions PSV Eindhoven. Galasek can now fully focus on helping the Czechs in the World Cup, beginning with their first game in Group E against USA on June 12. Sky Sports
