Joshua Kennedy played for the 2nd team yesterday. He made both goals in a 2:0 win over Bamberg. It seems to me that he is getting fit now

As we start in the 1st round of the DFB Cup tomorrow and season will start next week I wanna know from you what you think about Dario Vidosic. I saw him playing once in the trial match against Erlangen but i'm not quite sure what I should think about him... How was he playing last season against the Mariners?

But was he doing like that the whole season or was it just one match? I do not have the time and possibility to watch him playing with the reserve. So I just want to know what you think about him.

I am back from the holidays I just have to add that Dario Vidosic already scored once and made 4 assists in three games for the second team. Maybe I will able to see him play on Friday in the home match of the second team. There will also be a friendly against Dubai tomorrow. Maybe some benchers will play there too.

As the new Bundesliga season starts this weekend (we are strating tomorrow with a homematch against Karlsruhe) I wanna tell you what a serious newspaper wrote about the players (the Australian) in a special issue last week.
Michael Beauchamp: He is nearly a star in Australia and the well-known British football paper Four-four-two awarded him as Australian's Best Football Player in 2006. In 2006 he achieved the finals with the Central Coast Mariners (located in Gosford, 70km north of Sydney) but lost to FC Sydney and moved to Nuremberg. He was very surprised about his first Bundesliga goal which contributed to the 1:0 win over Cottbus in spring this year. He said that he had never made a goal as a professional football player before.
Matthew Spiranovic: No three months after his trials with Hans Meyer he gave his debut in the Bundesliga at the age of 18 - against Bayern Munich and Roy Makaay in February 2007. Matthew Spiranovic, who is Australian-born with a Croatian passport and graduate from Victoria Institute of Sports in Melbourne, is astonished for some time about his career which has led to a title so far: In the cup-final he came in for "oldie" Marek Nikl who was pretty knackered. It was his 2nd gold medal - after the "Weinstein" medal he achieved for being the best youth player in Victoria in 2005.
Dario Vidosic Dario Vidosic is still one of the not so well-known players - and comes to the training by driving an Opel. The Australian who was born in the Croatian town Osijek and raised up in Queensland since he was 2 years old, really impressed Hans Meyer during a trial. Dario, who is very talented in playing football captured the fans' hearts with only one sentence that was written in Australian newspapers: "I never thought about a move if not such a top club like Nuremberg has been interested in me."
Joshua Kennedy Another Australian: Indeed, Joshua Kennedy is the greatest unlucky fellow right behind Marek Mintal. After arriving a year ago his Achilles tendon was torn apart during a training session; he didn't play a single match after a surgery and several problems occuring with that injury. The tall guy arrived with big hopes because he convinced everybody while playing in Dresden after some failed attempts with Wolfsburg and Cologne. He became a part of the Australian World Cup Team in 2006 which was pretty sensational and even played in a match.

It wasn't a good day today - neither for you nor for us... We lost 2:0 against the newly promoted club of Karlsruhe. We started with Meggsy from the beginning. It was quite a good half an hour with a few opporunities to score...But we didn't use them... Josh came in after an hour for Charisteas. With this subsitution (he came together with mintal) our match improved a lot. Josh played very well but unfortunately he didn't score... We have a to play another promoted club next week. It is an away match in Rostock. Let's hope that Josh will start playing next week. That's it. Good night, respectively have a nice day

I have been to the training today, which was very funny. They all did very well. I let Meggsy and Matt sign on my "Australia" shirt which maden them smile...Unfortunately, Josh left very early after the training. I don't know how to minimize the pictures...

As you've probably noticed we won 2:1 last weekend in Rostock. Neither Meggsy nor Spiro played but Josh came in in the 2nd half.
Josh is likely to start next Saturday when we play Bremen as Charisteas got injured in the match against Rostock.

I am still shocked about the way we played last Saturday...We lost our 2nd home match against Werder Bremen with 1:0. Both Meggsy and Josh started, Matthew was sitting on the bench. Josh was substituted and Meggsy played full-time. It wasn't a good match of Josh; you realised that he was injured for quite a long time. Meggsy was one of the better ones in a very bad team... According to fcn.de Meggsy and Josh are nominated for the Socceroos match against Argentina in September. Btw I like the way your players are celebrating the win over Sydney with the fans (as I saw it on the you tube video)

FCN's form returns Please keep the updates and photos coming I think it will take some time till FCN is back in form again On Saturday we have to play our away match in Cottbus (that's in East Germany near the border to Poland). At least we have to get a draw or better we win...but it will be very hard...
