It has a Sydney bias - but most people out this way are too intelligent to read the Terrorgraph.
Last week they had an even coverage of the other 2 NSW teams but no Mariners. I've said it before, I'll say it again - there is an Anti-Mariners bias in the media.

If a Sydney paper appeals to it's primary Sydney market of millions and neglects the Coast it's a smart business move.

the market (of newspaper buyers) on the coast is large, with all the commuters etc. the tele sells buckets of copies to folks travelling home on the train. so annoying the CC market isn't necessarily a great idea.
this, of course, is qualified by two things-
1) there is no other tabloid to purchase, so the tele is the only thing to read on the train comfortably (unless you get mX for free, which isn't much of a paper- i pick it up at circular quay and am bored by central...)
2) the fact that the central coast is a hot market may not be immediately obvious to news ltd as the actual sales are happening in the city, they can't tell exactly where the papers are going and where the buyers live...

theres a store thats selling more syd items than cc items.

I'd agree with Dibo almost everybody I see on a CC train in the evening is reading a telegraph, so the CC market is quite large, it isn't that hard to read on SMH on the train just takes practice

very dissapointing loss against sydney. I noticed that a lot of people that were sitting in BAY 16 didn't actually really care about what was happening on the field. I have nothing against people sitting with us to have a good time but i think we need to make a bigger effort to try and fire them up and get them into the chants. We were divided by about 2 rows of people who didn't know what was goin on and this lead to us only having half of our voice and the top half and bottom half singing different songs.

We have beaten FC - We're the only team in the league to have beaten Every other team. Technically we have not beaten Newcastle in 90 minutes! But boy it felt good when Sonic scored that all important spot kick! |
