Mr Celery if you could pass my apologies to your wife for her treatment at the web page launch. There is no excuse for such treatment and the gentleman concerned will be spoken too. He was only there to ensure the safety of the projection unit until removed to allow Mick to move around without feeling responsible for it. The Kendall was requested by Michael as was the opening times to allow him to set up. he also requested it be open to the public. I was due there myself but got a puncture, again i would have prevented these stupid things from happening. I believe this has woken us up as I was probably too busy patting myself on the back for the way the last three matches had gone so well. I look foward to seeing both you and your wife so i can personally apologise on Saturday.

To add a bit of balance, as a new member of the Club, I've generally found everything fine. A little less relaxed than my yacht club, but that's to be expected considering the club size comparison! I can understand that the staff might be a little nervous with the sudden 'invasion'! But a few manners are not that hard, particularly as there was zero provocation in either situation, especially at the launch with my wife (not that she can't look after herself). Your comment about the bandana wearer was interesting, as I made a point of removing my cap on entering the Club, respecting the Club rules! As I pointed out earlier, the guy that helped get the audio visuals working at the beginning was great. Please pass on my thanks. If there are any Club rules of behaviour beyond the obvious, it would be good to air them early so there can be no confusion. For example, was the Kendall Bar launch a private function where children were welcome? If not, and I had known in advance, I would have attended alone. I suppose I could have made the effort to check, beyond having asked on this forum. Other rules, like no singing in the foyer (or general managers office!) are straightforward enough I think, as is the requirement to keep the language down, no dancing on tables, etc. But there may be a few grey areas. Sadly, I won't be making the game this Saturday - mother-in-laws birthday party - no-one argues with my M-I-L (bloody Swans fan). See you at a future game though.

Guys (or more specifically, Charles), this may be a stupid question, but what exactly is the club's regulations regards children in the club?
I have a friend coming along to the game this Saturday who is bringing the wife and 2 kids.
The kids are about 4, and 6mths. Fairly sure the wife is of legal age. Pretty sure. Nah, I'm positive. ;D
We'd like to pop in for a few drinks pre-match. Is this at all possible with the kids? Is there only certain sections of the bar we can take them into, or none at all? Are kids only allowed accompanied by an adult for certain functions?
Any clarification from anyone would be appreciated. Cheers.

hi Rubbernose, I am afraid no children are allowed in the Kendall Bar. Thay are more than welcome at the baker street cCafe end of the Club. Kellys bar is the closest to that area. There are also some Argade games alsso in their for to play if they want. Sorry just our restrictions. Glad to hear your wife is of legal age. Cheers

Cheers Charles, Last Sunday I checked the club web site but could not find any rules. I didn't get any when I joined. I emailed the club but all they sent me was the constitution. Are their any published rules - you things like which rooms are Over 18 only, what times which bars/food areas open, hat wearing, standards of dress, not sing/must sing, etc. Thanks

Hi kevrenor.as stated above we have the Kendall bar for the singing and chanting on match nights, this will be amended if we need to move the Marinators on live fox sports coverage for away games. under 18 are only allowed in one area the Baker street Cafe. They are allowed to pass through the Club to get to that area. As said previousl arcade games are in that area. Dress codes, We have flyer with the regulations on both doors. Pre 7.30pm and post 7.30pm, and on what can't be worn at all. On Match days it is as I said above. All other times hats or head gear of any kind other than religious can not be worn. Our Chinese Bistro and Buffet open 11.30am till 2.30pm open again 5.30pm closed 8.00pm Sunday - Thursday 9.00pm Friday Saturday. The Chinese close according to trade. Cafe open 9.00am till 9.00pm Sunday to Thursday 11.00pm close Friday and Saturday. The bars are open when the Club is opened, except Kendall which will open only on Friday and Saturday evening from 5.30pm. Closing times on both nights around 1.00am. I hope this is of help. I can see you tommorow if you have any other questions. Loved the spelling in my first answer. Never try and speed type when you can't type. Charles

Thank you for the feed back to date. as you know we are really forced to keep within the RSA guidelines. Before we get hit by negatives, which of course I accept.I do understand we are not there yet, as it is an ongoing process from both sides. I will make all the efforts to keep improving the situation. I agree it was great to see the rapport between the fans pre match. Although I did warn Mick that if you enjoyed yourself too much we would have to call in the army as it was not like the matches I used to go to in England. Again if any one needs to have a word to me I will be there pre and post match days. I will be asking Ben from the Mariners, for match copy of last game. If you prefer that i show the the game before which we won. I await your feedback.

Mick & Charles, If we win against Melb Victory and the rumour of us having the final played @ CC Stadium is correct - How about a copy of the Mariner vs Victory game beforehand being shown?

Could someone please assist Charles in procurring a copy of this significant game for us to watch pre-Final. What a build-up it would be seeing it then going across the road to witness something even grander.
