i just found this, when trying to find info on the game kc.wizards.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20060315&content_id=53847&vkey=news_kcw&fext=.jsp&team=kcwThe Kansas City Wizards warmed up the frigid weather Tuesday in Bavaria with some offensive firepower in a 3-1 victory against the amateur side of 1. FC Nürnberg in an exhibition in Nürnberg. Temperatures hovered around the freezing mark as the Wizards scored two goals in the first 20 minutes. Josh Wolff slotted a shot past the Nürnberg goalkeeper in the eighth minute for the game's first goal. Scott Sealy played the final ball from the corner of the penalty area to Wolff in the area. Sasha Victorine volleyed home the second goal in the 20th minute from Eddie Johnson's pass, placing a shot in the upper corner of the goal. Nürnberg pulled one of the goals back in the 36th minute, converting a penalty kick after Wizards defender Jimmy Conrad was called for a foul in the area. The Wizards final goal came in the 85th minute from Johnson. He maneuvered past a couple of Nürnberg defenders and chipped a shot over the goalkeeper. The ball for Johnson's goal was fed to him by Jose Burciaga Jr., who intercepted a clearing pass from the Nürnberg defense and played a high ball to Johnson. Burciaga also had a hand in the other two Wizards goals. He played a ball from the back that found Sealy, who passed to Wolff for the first goal. On the second goal, Burciaga whipped a cross to the far post for Johnson, who played it first time to Victorine for the goal. The Wizards continue their trip to Germany with a game against Regionalliga (third division) club Regensberg on Wednesday before taking on the senior Nürnberg side - which plays in the Bundesliga -- on Sunday. The Nürnberg amateur side plays in the Bavarian section of the Oberliga, or fourth division. Wizards coach Bob Gansler has all of his players from which to choose a lineup for the trip. Gansler has said that one the primary purposes of the trip is to give the starting 11 a chance to work together in game situations. The starting lineup included rookie Matt Groenwald at right back, fourth-year midfielder Jack Jewsbury, who has started 22 times in three previous seasons, and Sealy, who teamed with Wolff and Johnson in the attack. Wizards lineup: Bo Oshoniyi (Will Hesmer 45), Jose Burciaga Jr. (Stephen Shirley 85), Nick Garcia (Ryan Raybould 69), Jimmy Conrad, Matt Groenwald (Shavar Thomas 45), Kerry Zavagnin (Jermaine Hue 80), Sasha Victorine (Alex Zotinca 45), Jack Jewsbury (Lance Watson 45), Scott Sealy (Davy Arnaud 45), Eddie Johnson, Josh Wolff. Nah that was Tuesday's game - note.... "before taking on the senior Nürnberg side - which plays in the Bundesliga -- on Sunday. The Nürnberg amateur side plays in the Bavarian section of the Oberliga, or fourth division." I got the report from oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3281762

Today's Football Fever says that Megssy texted Lawrie to say that he did very well in the trials and that the coach was happy with his performance.

It would be interesting to hear a first hand account from someone who has played overseas for these big clubs.
I imagine there is this continuous revolving door of trialists coming and going at all clubs across europe every few weeks. People moving from one trial to the next hoping to snag a contract.
id be intested to read a posting from someone who knows something about what goes on.

Please email West Ham for me brett, about this 110kg bloke that is a part timer, plays a little in goal, and is good for 20-30 minutes before he needs a stretcher. Should be a record signing

Well Carrol is injured, and 37 year old Shaka Hoslop is, well, 37, plus he is unfortunate enough to share a team with Yorke, so yeah, give them a holler for me. Oh, and when was the last time 'might' leeds made the final 4 of the FA Cup???

shit hey? that's a real endorsement of our club, of our league, and our coaching staff. that means that 1.FC Nurnberg agrees with Lawrie, Fergie and Tobes that Meggsy and Sonic are quality, and shows that they've developed well here and thrived in our environment.
Everyone at the Mariners should be really proud, and the lads themselves should be bloody proud too. And I feel very lucky to have seen the first A-League players to have graduated from being a solely domestic league player to a tier-1 European league.
Brilliant stuff. We'll miss them, but we look forward to their triumphant returns in a few years' time.

I think if you ask Douges or Glenn006 nicely enough, they might be able to get one for you when they go to the World Cup -you'll have to pay them first tho. ;D
