Good news People !!
I have just read in the Daily Telegraph this morning, that if we beat Melbourne (and we will), the final will be played at Gosford, regardless of the result between Sydney and Perth. Apparently Aussie stadium has an NRL game booked for the same day as the final.
OH YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!

If it was played at Gosford though, would all people who paid for season tickets have to pay for the match or would we be sent another ticket in the mail

if perth beats sydney and mariners defeat melb, then where will the final be? hopefully gosford as ccmfc finished with 6pts and pgfc with 4 As much as I would love to have the final in Gosford, I think the final may be played in Perth. Only because we had the semi final and final at home.

"The club is hoping to raise a further $2 million in equity by selling shares in the Mariners." Does he mean shares, as in the stock exchange Good onya Singo. Hopefully when we win the comp he can shout free beer at the club like he did when Belle Da Jour when the Golden Slipper.

I don't think it was a bad choice then. Would have loved to have seen Sully there, but you can't win them all.

I loved it the 1st time I saw it. They showed the ad when Chad Gibson appeared on the FOX Sports show "The Back Page". Then I flicked to channel 10 and it was on again.
Although he is a Queenslander, Chad spoke really well when he was drilled questions from all the panelists.

When I was living in Penrith and the Panthers were struggling for a crowd, the district rugby league cancelled all games on the particular day Penrith were playing at home. Is this an idea that the Mariners are looking at ?

If anyone missed the show, it's on again at 6.00 tonight Fox Sports 2.
But nothing about the Mariners. Very Disappointing.

I believe Michael Baird for QLD is one to watch as well. He played really well for them against Sydney FC in the CWC. He is extremely quick. Injured, and will miss a quarter to 1/3 of season, which is why they went for Brosque, but yes indeed he could shine later. Bugger. I was looking forward to seeing him play.

Just want a good performance A win will see a better crowd for the first home game I'd love to see a near full house at the first game. That would be awesome. I think the crowd would have been bigger at the CWC final, had the weather not been cold and wet. BRING ON THE SEASON !!!

I read in this morning paper that Leo Carle has signed with the Mariners. Does anyone know anything about him ? Is he Nick Carle's brother ?

I'm still waiting for my tickets for saturday has anyone else recieved them yet? (Those who have their season tickets already) I spoke to Mel at the Mariners this morning, and she told me that for anyone who bought a season ticket, they will be sending out a normal Ticketek ticket today for the 2 pre-season games. The proper sean tickets will be sent out after the preseason.

As I was in the train this morning going to Sydney, I realised that the Mariners could place a big sign behind the bay area just above the bowling greens. A sign advertising season tickets as well as our next home game. This would attract peoples attention if they don't read the papers.
Just a thought.
