To the tune of Advance Australia Fair.
The Central Coast let us rejoice As we are the Mariners. From Viddie and Danny who save the goals To Kwasi and Mrdja who score. Our midfield is tight and strong with Gumpa leading them. With Lawrie and Fergie who coach the team We are the Mariners.
As one big group we stand and sing. WE ARE THE MAR-IN-ERS !!!!

What I found really good about the Cove, was that they had people at the front of the bay starting the chants. Maybe we could adopt this plan, that way all the people down the front would have no choice but to stand up and join in the chants.
Also, I was astounded to her a person in Bay 15 tell people in Bay 16 to "sit down".

I agree. 10 points to the designers, makers and wearers of the shirt. They are going to be a lot cooler during those hot summer days/nights, than last years jerseys.

finish work at 5 and heading straight down! me too, but from the city... *sniff* might have to do the trado's thing and take tinnies on the train, camouflaged in the shell of an empty coke can... ...nah, even i'm not that much of an alco! There's nothing wrong with having a few drinks on the train. I do it every friday from North Sydney. Hang on, maybe I am an alco... But it's only illegal if you get caught !!

I dont quite understand what problem you are trying to prevent happening here? Bay 16 is a general admission area so there's no way it can really be policed ticketing-wise anyway, and I think everyone knows that bay 16 is for the marinators. My concern was that although during the comp, Bay 16 is general admission and you can sit where you want, being the semi's which is run by the FFA, they may impose allocated seating to all areas.

Does anyone know if there have been any arrangements made for Bay 16 to be for Marinators/Mariners fans only ?
I myself am a season ticket holder, and I'm sure that we are allowed to buy semi's tickets before they go on sale to the general public. In saying that, should some type of register be set up so Marinators that are season ticket holders can buy tickets for Marinators that aren't season ticket holders ?

It was my first away trip this year, and just walking to the ground I was kicking myself that I didn't go for the 1st round down there. Can't wait for the next away trip to either Newcastle and/or Sydney for the semis.
We provided a good atmosphere. I had a mate who was at the other end of the ground, and he said we could be heard loud and clear. I watched the replay yesterday on FOX, and we can hardly be heard. All you can hear is The Cove. Bloody FOX drowing us out !!
