.... Nigel was dead set the most talented kid I've ever seen for his age when he played with us in 2004 we were lucky as we had both Nigel and Stuey Musialik playing for us that year and it's just unfortunate that both the boys were struck down with illness and injury later that year as in my opinion they were both good enough to head O\S. So what you are saying is that neither was good enough for the A-League so they should have gone o/s. Gee this must go o/s mindset pisses me off!!!!! Did I say they were not good enough for the A League? Get the chip off your shoulder mate and settle down!!!!!

No I'm suggesting you should have said that if you want them to go overseas, but like so many in this country with no balls to stick up for Australian football, everything is so better overseas!!! I'm glad these guys are here in the A-League where at least Musialik is getting quality time on the park in a decent league, not rotting in some crap English Non League side. Chip stays on shoulder! I barely tolerate my Mariners compatriots fawning over EPL and other o/s teams, so why should I go easy on someone who is yet to be proven as non-scum. Welcome by the way! ;D I'll settle down when I'm in a casket!

As much as I also would love to see football in Aus get to the standard of $'s keep our best playing here I realise it will never happen and therefore why get agro about it? As much as we hate it it will always happen. Thanks for the welcome and if following Newy makes me Scum then my hands up as Scum but I also enjoy Football in general and realise that having the Central Coast going strong is a win win situation for all of the Central Coast / Hunter areas.

Seems one might have as much trouble getting mature comment & debate on here as one does on the Jets forum eh westonfc. I'd hope that won't be the case. Give him a break you guys. He isn't one of those romper room students from the Roger Ramjet squadron.

Hey im a long time reader first time poster! I support the mariners and will be going to the game tonight I hope we can win but Melbourne is a very strong team. I wish I had registered earlier however my knowledge with computers is very lacklustre and i had to get my son to guide me through the process of setting up this account. Anyway hope to see many of you at the game tonight and hoping a mariners win.

Hi all,
I'm Graham, I live in Kincumber and have attended all home matches this year, plus the Sydney and Newcastle Away games.
I first followed football in my home town of Watford, UK. (They were known as the Hornets, because their strip was yellow and black!). My other love is the Morris Mini, (you may have seen the red and white one around the place).
I've recently been joining my two sons and daughter in Bay 16, but I must admit I prefer the view from the middle of the top deck. My wife only made it to one game this year, (last week), because she works Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
I enjoy meeting at the Kendall Bar, but it's a problem when you've got a 15 year old in tow. He can come in for the Away games, but not if we use the Sports Bar - and not for Home pre-game activities. Licencing regulations are hard to comprehend!
Anyway, I'll see you around, (I'll be in the yellow shirt with all the signatures).

HI guys, Just realized that I have been posting and not introduced myself properly. (Very rude of me to which I apologize.)
I am another Graham, living in Wyong, originally from North East London (Epping, South Woodford) and besides loyal Mariners, Spurs are the team to beat.
Have played football until I was about 25, then had a injuries and gave up, however last year my 8 year old started playing for Tuggerah and I was the manager of his team...
Most games I am around the East or West depending on which family members are coming. With wife & youngsters in tow, pre match functions are out. As well as after match, only been one. The wife just doesn't get the addiction of supporting a team can be....
Oh well I am madly trying to get to understand, she still doesn't get the off side rule. Then I don't think half the officials do either...
Anyway enjoy the off season and hope to spend more time around you all next year...

Hi all you football tragics, I am an old newbie who has a new found passion for the beautiful game due to following the Mariners, the Socceroos and this Forum for the last few years and I have decided to take a more proactive approach. I am becoming a Mariners member this season, buying a season ticket and putting my two cents worth in occassionally. I would like to play the game again but an over 55 comp just seems a bit too ridiculous, so I am going to watch. This forum has been infomative, humorous, controversial and sometimes a bit on the darkside, but always entertaining. Keep it up. ;D ;D
