Hi all,
With all the shit that has been happening with Sydney FC I am a recent convert, don't see any point supporting a club that is going to be run into the ground by incomptent morons (read Perry).
Actually found out last weekend that it is quicker for me to get to Bluetongue then it was to get to Aussie!!! And I didn't have to pay $25 in tolls either!!!
Upon my first venture to the Kendall I realised that I was in the wrong place before!!! A proper Mariners pub right next to the ground is freaking awesome!!!
Make sure you say hi to me next home game. I will be the nervous bloke in the corner (still feels weird wearing yellow)

Shift2, that's awsome news mate and glad to have you aboard! It's a shame you didn't come and say g'day then, but make sure you do that next time! Ask anyone in there "who is who" any they'll tell you. Some of us are making the trip to Orange on Saturday (and a lot staying overnight, whilst some have to get back imediately) so if you want to come to that you would be most welcome of course. Check out some of the threads for the 'Marinators Club' and what that is all about etc and if you want to join up to the official club, let me know. (Doesn't make you any less of a supporter if you don't join however!)

Hmm...just re-read my post and noticed I may have overused the exclamation marks Anyway. I can't make it to Orange unfortunately so will have to listen to the radio. Next game I will see live will have to be the 1st round of the a-league (unless of course we host the pre-season cup final). I actually still have members tickets may as well use them for one game before I mail them back to the club ;D I live in the Hills district

Hi Everyone, Very new to soccer and this forum. I went and watched the Romario game last year and became hooked.
Anyway I am taking the tarago down to SFS on Friday night and have had a couple of people pull out. I have 2 tickets (Bay 3) and a ride there and back if anyone is interested. My sons 6 months pregnant preschool teacher is driving so it will be a pretty tame excursion however there will be an esky full of beer onboard. We can pick up from either the Peninsular or Kariong and cost is just the price of the ticket. Not sure if this is the right spot to post this or appropriate but as I said I am only new.

Just trying to recoup the $40 I am out of pocket and I kinda get the beer for free. I haven't had any firm response so I will post in the other thread.

Hi all,
My mate and I are recent season-ticket additions to Bay 6 after watching a few CC games last season and we will be immersing ourselves in the culture as much as possible. I hear the Kendall bar is the place to be for the away games so we'll see you in there on Thursday night. As my chum Mr Taylor described us, look for Andre Agassi and Tom Cruise.

If you are in Bay 6 - look for the vocal Mariner Mum and her yellow hairstyle

If it's the lady that shouts out "Ya hairy back Mary!" then we are quite familiar with her - they love to give it to the ref/opposition/anyone

I'm lucky enough to score a bed for the night in Kariong on drinking-friendly nights, so I'll be there on Thursday night (thanks APEC)
