I think this is a great chance to get a lot more bucks into the Gimme 5 for Kids coffers. Roonytunes as a platinum member I AM NOT COMPLAINING re the possibility of not sitting in the seat I have occupied for the past two seasons. I fully support the sentiment of this promotion for this game and I do not feel cheated or whatever terminology has been used regarding this game not being part of the membership package. In fact I will be bringing two friends with me who havent been to a game before and will be happy to drop a note into the bucket NOT a gold coin. My children's health is not an issue to me but there are many families on the Central Coast who do it tough through illness (some terminal) and so it is not a burden to "give up" my seat if it will help the kids of the Central Coast have some quality of care during their tough times. well said mate |

getting back to this thread - it's probably worth noting that members are getting a freebie for this game, so 'all that pain' for the welly game wasn't so bad. did we get freebies for the final/(s) last year? I know it's only pre-season but I think anything less than 15k will be dissapointing that's a little optimistic. given it's preseason, with little advertising and there is still stuff like NRL on if we get 7k. if we get a really big crowd (read: over 10k) then i'll be stoked. wading through my hopeless and possibly only half-written sentence above where i was guessing at a 7k crowd, we got over 8k so that was good, i predict about the same for this game, except the club will make some pennies from ticket sales this time. |

We did get a free ticket to the semi last year, I do not think the final was the same, though I could be wrong.
