Looking at the replay of heffs challenge, i dont for a second feel sorry for milligan or that he was hard done by, the only reason he was there, as someone stated earlier, is because he was blindly looking for a hard challenge on Jedinak, but Jedinak overpowered him, he bounced off, hefferen watched milligan the whole way in his attempt to charge Jedi and heff smashed him on the ground for it, in fact the ref was obviously responding to Milligins initial failed challenge on Jedinak when he called the foul, got what was coming to him, the mariners box is not a place for girls...

I reckon the prat had let his space visor slip, and his spaceman gloves had accidentally changed channels, and he was watching the Knights v Whoever beat them last night. |

Even the Jest supporter I watched the game with said he's sick to death of forwards charging into defenders and getting a free, simply because the defender refused to step out of the forwards way and let him through. He thought it was about time the ref acknowledged that it the job of the forward to go around a defender and not through him. Good on you Heff for standing your ground. |

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! probably one of the gutsiest and brilliant displays of football ever seen in australia. never had so many heart attacks in one match (including 16 nov 2005)
Heffos check was magnificent but milligan back in his place.
Hopefully this is the start of a wonderful season.

To the young lad who got clocked by a Sydney fan on the way home hope you're feelin better today.
I actually had someone ask me what i was smiling about today... hadn't realised it but I am not sure I had stopped since last night even with the splitting headache I am just getting clear of.

I was watching the other games, so didn't see. Nothing unexpected - good to see sasho score the winner, positive start to the season and all that sort of stuff. They were saying that Phoenix are not to be taken lightly, which is good, and that Juninho will definitely prove to be more of a threat in weeks to come. |
