Looking at the replay of heffs challenge, i dont for a second feel sorry for milligan or that he was hard done by, the only reason he was there, as someone stated earlier, is because he was blindly looking for a hard challenge on Jedinak, but Jedinak overpowered him, he bounced off, hefferen watched milligan the whole way in his attempt to charge Jedi and heff smashed him on the ground for it, in fact the ref was obviously responding to Milligins initial failed challenge on Jedinak when he called the foul, got what was coming to him, the mariners box is not a place for girls... Heff will get cited for this one I think and will be lucky not to cop a suspension. The Mariners were very lucky that the referee, a split second before, blew a foul by Popovic in the box, or he may have well given that as a penalty. I have no doubt that the touch-ups Milligan received were from orders by Fergie. The coaches obviously saw a weaknesses in the mental toughness of the lad as he copped some other argy-bargy during the game. It probably worked as Milligan stopped playing after the Heff shove. He was everywhere in the first twenty minutes but then went missing when the heat was on.

Good. No less than the little shit (Milligan) deserves......
I've seen the replay on Fox Sports News a few times now - I don't care what suspension Heff cops, because seriously, that was a _quality_ hit.

Wasn't there an incident in the 70th minute wherein Nik was rugby tackled from behind by Zadkovic and while he was on the ground a bling bum stood on Niks back. I have a feeling that it was Milligan. It was easy to see especially on the replay and yet one eyed slater and "over the" Hill said nothing about the incident. In fact I dont think Zadkovic got a yellow card for the tackle.
Its always the way Culina wants protection for Juninho and then sends Milligan out to do whatever he wants.

The concept of "protection" for any player is a joke, and any coach with the nerve to ask for it is begging for that player to be hounded even worse - what makes Juninho any more worthy of being given a free kick than Gumprecht?? Jedinak?? Wilko??
Nothing. Ref the rules of the game, not what Greasehead (seriously, has anyone seen that man's forehead?? Almost like a mirror) thinks should happen to his precious team.

i thought we would put sydney to the sword with superior fitness but it almost seemed that sydney had the better running
i wonder if we pulled back on pre-season training because of the injury count of the last two seasons?
no point in players being supremely fit if they are not on the park

Did anyone notice some of the players cramp up as they leapt the advertising banners to get to the fans after the game?

It was Rudan that stood on Mrdja, it's rumoured in the Adelaide Advertiser that it will be cited, of course not mentioned in the Telegraph!
