yeah it was pritty obvious that kwas was trying to speed up, not slow down that game which is a little harsh, bloody refs.

I was very concerned about the lack of penetration from midfield. We were getting out muscled and dominated in the air the ball had to be on the ground. Topor sat on Kwas, while Brownie and Hutch are not the sort of players to run at the opposition and create brilliant attacking opportunities. I think Gumps was excellent when he came on against a tiring team. Much more effective than he has been so far this year. This could be how Lawrie uses him from now on. Owens (when fit) or Tommy (when in form) can be creative but can you drop Hutch or Brown? I don't think so. Interesting problem for the manager.

how many times did they pass the ball to Kwas in the air? He won't out jump NTS, keep it on the deck ffs! Interestingly this is exactly how we scored! When they kept it on the pitch

Does anyone know the extent of Browny's injury?
Didn't look too good when he went down.

Need something for the Jets. The Squadron claim they're pretty hot ATM. Speaking to a variety of Jest fans, the Squadrunts are right up themselves if they think they're hot. No one I spoke to rated them. Some even thought the Melbourne travelling fans took the honours on the night! They're not a patch on the mighty Marinators. Never were, never will be.

wat was the go with those "sin city" sydney fc fans??? down the front of bay 16 being bogans...i suppose they wanted to see a team win.. i dont think they had anything to do with SCC. i saw a fair few rugby league boofheads celebrating their end of year trip at the Mariners. i think those two were involved. im considering writing to the paper for one of those ticks and crosses articles complaining about bogans just out to disrupt the event because its sokka and the best thing they can do on a Sunday is get drunk and kicked out of the stadium. im sick of it as this has happened a few times now and there is always some gorilla in a crap league jersey there to rev everyone up.

And dont security just do a great job about it...........both home games we have had these wankers "invading" bay 16 and both times security have had to be told what to do.
The SSC looked more "Ultra" than those 2 who just looked like sad Eminem wannabes.
Also saw the RL guys being assholes......

the shirts they were wearing were footy club shirts, they must have won something or lost a bet.
this has been going on longer than this season too.

Back to the game itself......I've been away for the past few weeks since after the Wellington match - I've seen the goals on YouTube, and have skimmed through some of the threads on this forum. From what I've read, we've been a little bit lucky to get where we are at the moment. Any chance of a summary of the past few weeks - where we've done well, which players are starring etc..... ? Sorry, just too jet-lagged/lazy to read every single posting!
