I haven't checked, and i don't know German, but does "Nordkurve" roughly translate to "North End"? Yes, you may translate it like that. If you translate it literally then it is North Curve or curve at the north side of the stadium.

well, _roughly_, the northern "corner"(?) of the stadium - if your stadium is square (or rectangular) - _roughly_ the north end.
We have one of those @bt. ;D

Our stadion is an octagon. everything that is blue is the Nordkurve. That is where, as I mentioned before, the supporters are. This area is completely sold out with season cards. The areas 5, 7, 11 and 13 are the areas where the fans are standing, 8 is where Ultras Nürnberg are, and the rest is the seating area. I'm sitting in 4, row 2

May we borrow a striker from you?!
We lost again 1:0 in Hamburg...Don't know what to say...We play well till we get to the penalty area (?)...then we don't have anybody to score...
Hopefully Saenko gets fit for the match on Wednesday and hopefully Josh Kennedy and Meyer arrange their quarrel...
But there is also something positiv: Matt Spiranovic played 90 mins today. He man-marked van der Vaart and did it very well. He was one of the best today (although van der Vaart scored the goal). Meggsy was on the bench.
Kennedy scored the 1:0 in a 2:0 win for the reserves.

I don't know what to say...I'm totally shocked and disappointed...Again a defeat in a home match 2:1 against Leverkusen...
Meggsy and Spiro were in the starting 11...Josh and Dario were on the bench. Josh came in for Meggsy in the 2nd half and Dario for Pinola (who is injured again).
Kennedy was crap. Spiro did quite well except in the scene that lead to the 2nd goal for Leverkusen. Meggsy and Dario didn't attract attention...
We got 2 unbelievable stupid goals against us...
I'm totally speechless at the moment... place 17, only 5 points in 7 matches and a lot of injured players...
the result fit to the weather...cold and rainy....

And I read on 442 that they are very close to signing John Aloisi. I cant see him solving the problems.

Aloisi could help - it seems the problems are deeper than that.

It seems that scoring isn't the real problem something just isn't going right at all. I know it's a new keeper I don't think that's it either.

It is a difficult situation now. Actually we should be used to it as this is how it was before Hans Meyer came... But after the good last season we are totally surprised about that.
I do not think either that it has anything to do with the new keeper...he improved a lot in the last games...
In my opinion the players do not have the )I don't know how to say...) self-esteem isn't the right word to score from the distance...they want to carry the ball into the goal...

What a match on Saturday. We got a 3:3 draw in Bochum. Scored the 1:0 but got the 1:1 just 3 mins later...the again Kluge scored the 2:1 but got within 5 mins the 2:2 und 3:2... We made the 3:3 in the 82nd min and had some chances to win...
Our defense was crap, the strikers improved as Saenko was fit.
Spiro started, Kennedy and Vidosic came in. Meggsy was on the bench.
On Thursday we are playing in Bukarest. We will see if we may make it to the group stage. On Sunday we got an away match in Munich against Bayern.

2-2 draw away to rapid bucharest sees der club through to the next round on away goals. terrific result, and guarantees another few matches of european football which will be great for the fans and for the players.
