That's graet that we made it to the group stage. So we have 4 more matches - 2 home and 2 away matches.
Sprio played at the right side in our defense and did a really good job. Josh Kennedy cames in about 10 mins before the end. Meggsy was on the bench.
We were 1:0 behind but then Kluge made the draw with a geat goal. Misimovic scored the 2:1 which was a great goal aswell. Bucharest made the 2:2 after a corner, the 1:0 aswell, in the additional time (90+4).
I'm really looking forward to the next international matches.

Nuremberg vs Bayern Munich is about to kick-off.
Meggsi and Spiranovich are both starting while Joshua Kennedy is on the bench.

It would have been better if we hadn't played today I have been to Munich yesterday and it was one of the most disappointing matches I have ever seen of the Club! No runnings, no tacklings...We have serious problems - not just one but quite a few...defense, forwards... You have to admit that Ribery and Toni are playing in other spheres (ok Toni played like he did during the world cup - he fell very often ) but it was just crap what we played...I'm a kind of speechless...It was the worst match during the on going season! As someone wrote Meggsy and Spiro were in the starting XI. Meggsy played against Toni and Spiro back on the right side. We never had a real chance during that match. Toni scored twice and Ze Roberto once...But Bayern could have easily won 7 or 8:0.... The negative peak was when Kennedy missed the goal from 3 meters....It was a header and he had a lot of time to decide where to shoot it...he headed it next to the goal...btw in my opinion Josh should go to a hairdresser as he always has to arrange his hair during the match.... Next week is no match as there are the qualifiers for the EURO. Hopefully everbody gets back well. But after that we have to win against Frankfurt otherwise the situation gets more ticklish...And on Oct 25 there is the next UEFA match...

I am quite content with this group...the only thing is that we don't play in England I would have loved to go to Everton/Liverpool...

I know it is nearly unbelievable but we won today!!! We've been 1:0 behind and won 5:1 against Frankfurt! Spiro and Meggsy were in the satrting XI, Josh and Dario on the bench. Spiro was substituted in the 12th minute (right after the lead for Frankfurt). It seems like he has a knee injury - but nothing is known so far about the injury. Meggsy had to play after that on the rigt back side and did it quite well. Charisteas made the draw after a free kick and set uo the 2:1 scored by Marek Mintal. As Charisteas played superb he got a penalty aswell. So it was 3:1 (Misimovic). Josh came for Charisteas in the middle of the 2nd half. Ha had 2 very big chances when he was alone in front of the keeper - but he misplayed both times. He saved twice after a corner for Frankfurt as our keeper wasn't able to get the ball - Josh cleared the ball nearly on the line. Mintal scored the 4:1 after a corner and last but not least Josh scored the last goal with the back of the foot (is it pick?). Todays win was very important but now we have to confirme the result next week when we play in Wolfsburg. I'm sorry for not writing for such a long time but as I recently moved I do not have internet access on weekdays so far (I just have the opportunity to get to the internet on the weekends). Hopefully it will change within the next 2 weeks so I may keep you updated about the Club and the Aussies especially. Have nice day

Great news about that!!! Looks like Nurnberg have turned the corner!
Dibs, I don't think Spiro has played any Olyroos qualifiers? I'm probably wrong though.

Sorry, for being away so long. First my mood was not so good to write about our team and then I didn't have much time, got ill. But I see that happy stepped in and provided you with all the necessary news The two saves by Kennedy yesterday were awesome and his goal may be in the selection for the goal of the month. He chipped the ball in while falling with the back of his foot. And that happened after he didn't make the two much more easier goals

And that happened after he didn't make the two much more easier goals That is true - I just couldn't believe it how he misses these 2 chances... I hope that the goal will give him self-confidence so he may score on a regular basis...

Spiro and Dario are in the Olyroos squad for the matches against Iraq (in Gosford on Nov 17) and North Korea. fcn.de/index.php?id=15782Yesterday the team had a photo shooting for some sponsors; among other things for a brewery: You can watch the other photos here: fcn.de/index.php?id=15781

The away match in Wolfsburg was very bad...We lost 3:1 and it isn't worth it to write anything about it... All players played worse...Charisteas made an own goal...Meggsy started as a right back and finished as central back but he was worse at both positions. Kennedy came in after 55 mins, you couldn't see any action of him... Actually, I thought that we are on the way to solve our problems with the victory over Frankfurt last week but after todays match I think we do have even more serious problems
