I think 71 year old Donny set the standard last night - brandy, dancefloor, shouting people drinks.
I think we set a new rule for the Marinators:
- no one is allowed to go home before Don - he is the minimum standard

What an inspired choice as patron....and a complete gentleman to boot!
He was a tad gutted upon hearing that the hot chick from Azerbajan (?) was engaged though.
I am sure that i am not alone in feeling that the great man is more that deserving of a write up on the marinators website ( Don Parkes - About Our Patron )
I knew nothing of the Donmeister before last night but clearly his association with us is something to be proud of.

If anyone was wondering how passionate people are about this team seeing a 71 years young man shake his hips and wave that scarf like there was no tomorrow would make even the harshest sceptics alter there opinions.If Im going like Mr Parkes when I reach his age(hell Im 31 and not moving that well)Ill be a very happy man.Thank you Mr Parkes and well done boys on your selection
