Calling ALL marinators..... We have been invited to take part in the Gosford Xmas parade (Santa arriving in Gosford). We will need approx 50 Marinators (kids, mums, dads etc) to wear their marinators shirts, yellow wigs, scarves, wristbands, yellow thongs, and all other things yellow, including any flags etc. to parade down the high st in Gosford on Saturday 18th November at 11.00am (mariners play away vs N.Z. on the Sunday 19th being televised in the Kendall) First in first served, so put your name down here if you want to be part of it. There is a prize for the best 'float' (we won't have a float but a 'procession' unless someone has a flat top truck they want to get involved?) of $1000, and also lots of publicity from newspapers, TV and radio so lets give this our best shot. Drummers DEFINATELY required (not sure about the megaphones, probably won't be required?) Put your thinking caps on and if you have any brilliant ideas, let em rip here!
Who's in?

count me in and the other drumming blokes in for sure! from a drum perspective they are hard to play whilst carrying and walking so im keen for some sort of moving device if it can be arranged. marinators taking to the streets....brilliant!

Gull has kindly offered to do the printing for this one folks (Thanks Gull!) Angelbabe, can you do similar artwork to the last ones so that all Gull has to do is print them? If so, pm me and I'll go through roughly what we need on them.

hmmm football just doesn't seem like christmas - maybe we need to add some x-mas cheer by using yellow and blue tinsel? Or yellow and blue santa hats?

Wonder if the mariners or the club might donate some mariner soccer balls, flags etc you could give out.

Glad to have you all on board, but we DO need to be wearing MARINATORS shirts (or at least yellow) No one will be able to participate who isn't wearing yellow, so if you bring someone with you (great) just make sure they have a marinator shirt or yellow shirt etc.
Yellow and blue tinsel...yellow and blue santa hats?.... I LOVE IT! ;D
Anyone out there have a flat top truck (or know someone who has?) I guess even if we had a ute for the drummers to sit on the back? A yellow ute would be excellent! (no harm in trying huh?)
