Doesn't surprise me in the least that you stepped up the way you did Fish. I saw it as clear as day me ole mate. Pride myself on being a fairly good judge of character and you have proved me right yet again. You (and others) have gone above and beyond so many times I lose count and I am sure I speak for all other Marinators when I say a huge THANK YOU for what you do.

I would like to say a huge thanks to all the Marinators that travelled down here to Adelaide. It was ssooooo cool to meet up and meet some of the die hard supporters and also some friends that we havent seen for 6 months. The only noticable change was the fact that Mick had lost weight (well done mick) apart from that...nothing has changed, Froggy still got escorted out by the Police (apparently some of his beer 'accidentally' went astray....into the red shirts below us) and sneaked back in 3 times hahahah Frog, you're a legend son! I knew the first time I met Fish that although he was quietly 'lurking' in the background of the kendall bar in the very early days, he was indeed made of the right stuff to 'step up' for the Marinators and I gotta say, OUTSTANDING Marinator there! Very proud of you Fish. DJ is (due to his heritage no doubt) a master of the 'nuances' of footy. He understands the game, the supporter culture (how it was and how it should be) and acts accordingly, not to mention his sublime skills of making up those witty chants. All the others (Glen, HotDogs, Jimmy blue eyes and all the others) ended up having lots to drink and not only did it never get 'out of hand' , but it was indeed a pleasure to have you all here and you are all a credit to the yellow shirt! it was only a shame that we didn't have time to show you a little more of our new city. We are now REALLY looking forward to catching up again next week at the grand final.

The "you put your bodies in a barrell..." chant has got to be one of the best I have heard and being out of the loop for so long it was the first time I had heard it and it absolutely cracked me up, right there in a JAM PACKED little pub across the road from Hindmarsh ("our garden shed is bigger than this...doo dahh doo dahh!" ) The timing of it (during the NSW vs SA cricket game on the tv there) was perfection (well done DJ!....legend of the chant son!) and so well recieved in amongst an army of red shirts that it got a huge laugh from all and even some reds started singing it!hahahah What a f***ing day!....PERFECT!

Hi all. Tickets will apparently be available for us to pick up from Hindmarsh on Sat or Sunday from 9am. Rather than me go down on Sat and pick up tickets (for whoever wants me to) I thought seeing as most of you are getting into adelaide at 8.30 - 9.30am we would firstly go for a coffee and catch up, then head over to Hindmarsh around 10am and pick them up together. that way, gives you chance to see the ground, where it is, parking availability etc etc. From there, we can either go our separate ways till the game, or go for a bit of a look at the parks, river etc and grab some lunch? I'll have my 2 boys with me so can't go to the pub all day, but will look forward to having a few with you at the game and afterwards your welcome to come back to our place for a few if you want. Let me know what you think.

Very interesting all of this! We always said right from the begining that the idea was to start in bay 16 and then SPREAD OUT to 15 & 17 and even the whole gosford end! Those who occupy 16 however should be at a minimum, in yellow (prefereably mariners shirt or similar) and also expected to stand and SING! As far as the kiddies down the front? Remember that in a few years, thats who'll be joining you in the kendall/sports bar and the future of the club! And if they are joining in, I don't care how old they are, let em have fun too....BUT..It is annoying to see them taking up valuable bay 16 space and not participating and if I was in the position where I was having to stand down the front and got some little piss ants telling me they couldnt see.....well, 'fireworks' is all I can say! A sign put up saying that these bays are for standing, singing and wearing yellow is a great idea and I for one suggested the flyer a long time ago. Welcome the newbies, but just tell em what is expected....easy! For the record, I am against formally restricting bay 16 (for now) as the crowds grow, it may need to be looked at again.
