cool. I'll drive to the airport and pick up a few and take you to the city, maybe we can all grab a quick coffee in Rundle mall or better still, I'll take you to 'Bochellis' for the best coffee on earth! We can plan the day/night there huh?

Don't really fancy drinking with a bunch of Reds (no offence) but I'd love to get together with as many Marinators as possible for some kind of lunch/picnic/kick around/ whatever, maybe in one of the city parks or something? 12pm - 2pm then still plenty time for arriving at the pub mid avo? Just a thought.

Well said RR. So how about it Monique? You have the power to liase with security and the Mariners and make this happen. All bays behind the goal would then truly be 'Sea of Yellow' !

Guys, this whole thread brought a tear to my eye for sure! If it was any other weekend, I could have swung it, but that weekend starting from mid avo friday will be the culmination of months of work leading up to it. We are putting on a one week live in business course that I have to set up and help run. The timing is absolutely f***ed! Once again, the sentiment is quite humbling, not to mention extremely appreciated! Love you guys!

Whats life if you cant laugh at yourself eh? Got a lecture this morning from the boss....reckons i should use Fish as my role model and not get smashed all the time!!! This came about after she woke up, found me lying in the kitchen, with Ellen in my arms and the dog sniffing my crutch. What a wonderful world indeed. Glad to hear someone is carrying on in the tradition I left behind Red. Speaking of comatose on the floor next day.....haven't heard from Golden Boy in a while...whats happening with him? He still around?

Oh WT ...you're cruel son. What happened to 'what goes on tour stays on tour' ?... surely the leagusy is classified as 'on tour'? its after the game anyway. Red.. you ARE a very atractive man, and don't think for a moment that it's gone un-noticed! hahahahahahah

Nice one Auburn, we love all of ya son! I haven'[t heard from fatLazza on the forum for a long time either. Can you imagine a couple of mics (cordless of course) hooked up to the PA system would do? or even 1, attached high on the scaffold? Can you arrange that mick?

Would love to have a few more of you guys along instead of just us 4 yellow shirts here in Hindmarsh, that way some of the dickhead sharkbait will have some other 'targets' for throwing their beer at! lol

I think we need to be a little cool on this topic. Today's lemons could be tomorrows Marinators. What we are seeing now are lots of locals coming to football games for the first time. They will become involved and more committed and more attached with each game. Give them time they have to crawl before they can run. It is a big step for a normal person to let go and become a complete idiot in public like the rest of us. ;D Ursus I think you may be right, they are perhaps 'newbies'...all the more reason to 'educate' them! They MUST be made aware that SITTING in bay 16 wearing a victory shirt CANNOT happen! C'mon!

Wow...this topic STILL being discussed? I thought we would have had this sorted by now. Fish, I agree that bay 16 is GA, but so are other bays and lets face it, with crowds of 5000 etc, people can 'SIT' where they want virtually anywhere in the ground...why do they choose to sit in bay 16? Cause the MARINATORS made it what it is. the MARINATORS gave it the energy, the excitement, the colour, the fever pitch when our team scores. As far as I'm concerned thats the bay we should be somehow showing people that its OURS and if they want in...no problem, it can be THEIRS too, all they have to do is show your support of the mariners by buying a $2.99 yellow t-shirt from best n less and clap along to the chants (or even better, get into it and sing!) not much to ask! Is it? As for someone wearing a melbourne shirt....AND SITTING? what the f*** is going on over there? LOL

I think sense will prevail here. things like the waves get the families / kids involved and thats what we want, party / carnival atmosphere, but only during 'downtime'. I agree that it is disrespectful to the players if its done while they are 'working'.
