Central Coast Mariners launch their playing strip
Thursday 4 August 2005
Ten Players from the Central Coast Mariners will be unveiling their playing strip at Rebel Sport Erina on Thursday, 4th August from 6:00 - 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to be one of the first to see the team in their strip and meet the players.
There will be player interviews, interactive activities for the kids, prize giveaways and an opportunity to get player autographs. Some of the players on the night will include Nick Mrdja, Dean Heffernan, Andrew Clarke, Andre Gumprecht & Tom Pondeljak.
This is our Coast, this is our team.

After many a match stood on the kop and other famous stadia, i dont think i was ever more fired up for a season to start than i am right now. Marinators.....lets bring it home..... Wow, what an endorsement. After many a match watching my nephew play in the U/6 Beavers for Killarney I don't think I've ever been more fired up for a season. Except for a few years ago when I got really fired up for the season of spring. That was quite a year!

I think out of all the kinds of stalking WT's is the best. It's practically a victimless crime. Except ofcourse all Mariners players and staff and also many forum users.

Perth Glory players were threatening to revolt -mutinous dogs - against McMahon. With that in mind I highly doubt that their preperation has been any good. But they may excorcise all their demons in the preseason tournament and come A-League kick off be in the right frame of mind for a good game. I don't think so though. Perth 0-2 Mariners. 23' Gumprecht 72' Mrdja. Is this prediction too precise?

What about some predictions? I think we'll win 2-0. If both teams play their best we'll still be better and I don't think Roar will be able to play their best in our fortress stadium.

Thanks MM. “Some of the football in the first half was just brilliant,” said McKinna after the match. “Gumprecht scored a fantastic goal and our movement and passing was exceptional at times.” Sounds great. I'm getting really amped for Saturday. Our midfields too good for Roar. We'll win.

I was at Mariners HQ yesterday and Sprydzy had posted them all and they should be here today, Thursday. It is a bit late. We could of sould a 1000 more season tickets just through people seeing DJ's bumper sticker. Oh well, it is the inaugarual season.

22- Fergie and Tobin have plenty of ability. I even think Joe Spiteri would get a call up ahead of most of the Melbourne lot.
