Heard he was in a car accident and had to be air lifted currently in critical condition anyone else got any news?

info was pretty reliable...from a mate of his, apparently was driving home from tez pub friday night surprised club hasnt released any info

just got confirmation that it happened
he didn't get airlifted as reported
he is not in a critical condition
he is ok

WTF? ...he is a Mariner... he MUST be injured.
i didn't expect this to be completely true as something that big would have got to the media. My mate works for SeaFM and hadn't heard anything about it. Good to know he is ok though.

Or Boogs... I was worried when he got a cut near his eye on the weekend while playing for Lightning... that probably would have led to infection, an operation, intense physio work and another season in the corporate box.

hear last night he was in intensive care but in a more stable condition!!!! so yeah dunno why media hasnt heard about it ey my source is pretty reliable...just thought you should all know

CENTRAL COAST MARINERS FOOTBALL CLUB MEDIA STATEMENT, WEDNESDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2007
Central Coast Mariners FC wishes to advise that one of its players, Paul O’Grady, was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident on Monday morning.
Paul has been hospitalised since the accident but Doctors at the hospital advise that they expect Paul to make a full recovery over the next few weeks.
The club has respected the wishes of Paul’s family and made no public comment until this time.
It remains the view of the family and the club that Paul’s recovery be seen as paramount and while appreciating the wonderful support across the community, we ask that both Paul and his family’s privacy be respected.
As a matter of course the police are investigating the accident and have advised that at this time they have not been able to establish a cause for the accident.
