No no no, Mick, don't brush it off. While it is unlikely that you, me and Nik would ever be in the one room, I would like Nik to address his comments to the writer rather than the Mod of this forum and I'm prepared to say I was one of those folks. Give him the option of an approach should this happen. It's better he gets it off his chest. |

It's better he gets it off his chest. pointless IMO there have been a number of players that have been miffed at past forum comments as a professional he and the other players are not going to reply to every individual comment nor should he was making a generic statement so let's leave it at that and not beat up a minor issue i'd like to think that some comments may have spurred him on to prove many wrong |

Prepared to leave it at that, too.
But he should be aware that there are other professions who have similar anonymous complaints laid against them (like bus drivers), so if he gets precious about his professional football career, he should be aware there's others -like me- who have to cop just as much tripe from anonymous members of the paying public, as he does - and for considerably less pay I might add.

Being told something by a source is one thing, putting into the public domain is another. Could he not have just said that enquiries were made and Lawrie wasn't interested? I quoted the whole of Mick's post, if there's any ambiguity in what I've quoted - ask Mick - I've not been selective in what part of the quote I've used. My own comments about being brave and putting that info into the public domain is to be read straight. The only emoticon I put in that comment was the wink used straight after I had deliberately misspelt source - that's a nod to Jaza and his mate 'Sauce'. Given that's there is confusion about whether Elrich is headed our way or not, and given the past non interest/interest the club has portrayed with past signings (like DJ has mentioned), I do believe that Mick is being brave putting such info out. It can backfire onto him, if Elrich doesn't like what he sees, and turns out for the Mariners. That's my opinion - am I not entitled to an opinion? Mick is more than capable of handling himself, he's been around players for years. If his info proves wrong, I'm sure he can still maintain the same level of good work he's done over the years. we will have to wait and see as for being around the players i had to cop a spray from mrdja at the casino thursday because of the crap that was said about him on the forum last season (preface by saying it was not from me) i said that i don't represent the opinions of the forum and am not responsible for what people say but that it is a public domain and that people have every right to express their opinion whether he agrees with them or not as for the stuff about elrich well, it was not my words did you win anything at the casino? |

As nice an idea it was signing Elrich I think we need to hold off untill we cop a severe injury it wouldn't be much use having elrich if we had a defensive crisis |
