I seriously thought that was last season but now I think about it, Future School was the sponsor.

Elrich looks to Phoenix in quest to jump-start stalled career Taghred Chandab September 16, 2007
FORMER Socceroo Ahmad Elrich has until Tuesday to decide whether to sign with the Central Coast Mariners or the Wellington Phoenix.
Speaking for the first time since returning home this month, Elrich told The Sun-Herald there was a "good chance" he'd sign with Phoenix FC, after the New Zealand-based club made a last-minute offer.
Elrich, who slipped off the football radar 12 months ago after he injured his knee against Kuwait during the Asian Cup qualifiers, said all he wanted to do was play football.
"I really miss the fans," the 26-year-old said. "I've missed the excitement and the people coming up to me after a game congratulating me on my performance."
Elrich's determination to rebuild his football career meant leaving English Premier League club Fulham. He said he initiated talks to get a release from his contract, despite having one year left on it.
"I went back there earlier this year and I realised that there were more and more players joining the club, and I began to question my future," he said.
"I had to ask myself what I really wanted . . . [and] that was to play football. If I have to take a massive pay cut and take a backward step to get my career on track, I will do it."
Once word got out that Elrich was released, several A-League clubs began pursuing the right-wing back. There was speculation he had signed with the Mariners but, while the club was high on his list, Phoenix FC owner Terry Serepisos gave him extra food for thought by showing "serious interest".
Elrich, who was playing some of his best football before the injury, met Serepisos last Thursday and he must make a decision by Tuesday.
"They are keen to have me there," Elrich said. "The coach [Ricki Herbert] is also the New Zealand national team coach and to play under someone like him will be a real benefit.
"Wellington is a home away from home and I'll be back here every second week. It will keep me away from the distractions of family and friends and I can focus on football."
Elrich's main motivation for coming home was the Socceroos. After missing World Cup selection last year - which he described as a "slap in the face" - he hopes to get the chance to prove he deserves to be in the team.
"If I am playing well and I'm fit, I will get back into the national team," he said. "I know I am good enough to be there." Source: The Sun-Herald

He sounds like he likes to be the centre of attention.
Playing football is just a means to get his attention fix and to sign autographs.
Wanker indeed!

Read he was suggested as an attacking right back. Could be interesting if he was fit and not overpaid

Phoenix Keep Mum On Ahmad
Richie Young Sep 17 2007 15:11
WELLINGTON Phoenix are staying silent over the possible signing of Socceroo Ahmad Elrich - but could be set to confirm the deal tomorrow. The club have an 'important announcement' to make at a press conference planned for tomorrow morning, sparking speculation the deal to take him to New Zealand has been done.
Elrich is a free agent after being released by English Premier League club Fulham and has been tipped with a move back to Australia.
Sydney's Sun Herald yesterday quoted Elrich as saying he was a "good chance" of joining Wellington by Tuesday and that he had met with club owner Terry Serepisos.
"They are keen to have me there," the Sun Herald quoted Elrich as saying. "The coach [Ricki Herbert] is also the New Zealand national team coach and to play under someone like him will be a real benefit.
"Wellington is a home away from home and I'll be back here every second week. It will keep me away from the distractions of family and friends and I can focus on football."
Today however, Wellington newspaper The Dominion Post claimed Ricki Herbert is unaware of any meeting between Serepisos and Elrich.
Phoenix refused to comment on the speculation when contacted by au.fourfourtwo.com this afternoon.
A club spokesman declined the chance to lay the rumours to rest, but a press conference is scheduled at Phoenix's office for 9am AET tomorrow.
Ahmad's brother Tarek - who plays with the Newcastle Jets - has previously told au.fourfourtwo.com that Ahmad's main priority is to play first team football and force his way back into the Socceroos.

He decided to leave Fulham and initiated talks...................bollocks, they were happy to get rid of him.
Agree, he sounds like a wanker indeed................perhaps he would fit in a bit further up the F#3?
