We lacked someone putting their hand up in the middle and getting the thing settled and directed. I was hoping Owens would lead the way and he did in patches but with little help it was tough. As hard as Matty works he doesnt have the game breaking ability of Sasho(yet) so Id like to see Sasho start again with Aloisi, whehther or not they have found the right understanding or not it will be a far quicker road with them 2 then matty and Aloisi. Kwas still looks out of sorts and I hope his injury comes good ASAp and gets him ripping like he was at the start of the season as when hes, on hes on.

Matty Simon tried his arse off but he was hamstrung by having to piggy back QLD defenders around all night....... might want to check his shirt for extensive tearing from being pulled so much as well. How about Moore on Johnny A? He kicked Johnny from pillar to post. I'd hate to be him this season. The league this season is more like the EPL than ever before. Some of the tackles are a disgrace and have no place in our sport. I know a lot of you won't agree with me, but overall I don't think the refs are too bad this season. Sure there's been dodgy calls but I think the refs are a lot better than people give them credit for. Roar are the most physical side in the competition and target the star players from the opposition to take them out of the game and I mean to take them out literally. They've done it all season and will continue to do it. Look at their backline, Moore, Ognenovski, Mclaren not to mention Tiatto and McKay. Their more interested in maiming the opposition than scoring goals. I almost hate them as much as scum. The good news is the won't make the GF because they have no strikers. And don't get me started on Farina, I loved him as a Socceroo but the guy is a complete F**kwit. So biased towards his own team it is sickening. At least our boys and coach will admit when we are outplayed not like that cockhead.

Hahahaha, what a goose.......
Funnily enough, Shoelady and I ran into him later on at the Hotel LA - he didn't see us, or if he did, he didn't say anything.

I found the second half really frustrating watching Heff standing there without the ball even touching his feet! Why doesnt the ball get to the left as much anymore? It was good to see OGrady back on the pitch he played really well.

On a slightly brighter note, the Roar only managed to beat us by one goal and we were missing 5 of our first team players, 6 if you include Mrdja. exactly and the two goals were an oggie and a deflection

I missed watching the first 55 mins because we had a black out just before kick off, until then. From what I saw from the 55 min though mark we had some serious issues with holding onto possession. QLD pressed us and we had nothing, we just kept coughing the ball up, completely unable to hold possession for more than about 2 passes/5 seconds, which ever came first.
Hey Mick, I listened to your call up to the 55 minute mark on my wireless, it saved me, thanks. I dunno if this has been discussed before but I had to switch the radio call off when I was watching the game on Foxtel because the radio call is about 2-3 seconds ahead of the TV picture. I assume you're not on a delay but the tv picture is.
It makes it very annoying to have both on which is a real shame because I'd far prefer to listen to you than Cockerill and Harper, because I find both of them irritating beyond belief.

Everyone finds Harper irritating beyond belief, some more so than others! Fish finds Harper so annoying I reckon he must be tempted to put a shoe through the TV every time Harper's ugly mug pops up on his TV! ;D That banner ( Harper, U R a Twat) is going to be a permanent fixture in Bay 16. Get used to it Andy boy, and don't send your minions from Foxtel over to pull it down, it's only offensive to one poor soul - the rest of us agree with it 100%. ;D

I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, but can't the radio station put your match call on a matching delay, or is that a big expensive technical issue?
I thought lots of (most) radio programs were on a delay, so they can vet callers going live to air etc.
