- we've only done this a coupla times, and i think as much as anything i've rooted it up from the megaphone... it's a hard one to just launch into for the leader and for the rest of the bay, so it could really do with an intro. jets fans knocked one off from besiktas, am not sure how well they got it to work. sydney fans are talking about trying it

everywhere we go... etc - i'm now with the let's ditch it crew. if we don't ditch it, we need to make it work a hell of a lot better. at the moment it's done at a million miles an hour, it's done too much, and the roll into yellow army stinks. cutting it short, even changing the words, just let's do something with it, because at the moment it sucks big ones.

The posh spice on is a bit harsh but as ive said many times before, the one i have a problem with is "The Central Coast is wonderful". It comes very close to being a great chant, but it needs a few words replaced.

For f*** sake, these songs have been sung at football games WORLD WIDE for near enough 100 years, and I sure as hell wont stop singing them just cos a few people MIGHT be offended. Trying to stop people from swearing at football games is like trying to stop Joel Griffiths from diving, ITS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

Im not saying dont swear - im saying replace 2 words of one song. More than a few people dont want to sing it - half the bay mumbles the way through that bit and wrecks what would otherwise be a great chant.

this is a point that is mainly borne out of the fact that our supporter base is much more evenly divided m/f than most. uber blokey songs don't always go down well with a *large* proportion of our group.

I understand what your saying in a way. The fact that hundreds of people from hundreds of teams around the world already sing it, in its original form, would suggest to me that its already a great chant. I understand you dont like the words in the song. Would you find it more appropriate if they were substituted for the correct pronounciation (leave it out dibo, I know I cant spell ) for those words???
